S. Duncan Black and Alonzo G. Decker founded a small machine shop in Baltimore, Maryland called The Black & Decker Manufacturing Company. Today, Black & Decker is a global marketer and manufacturer of quality products used in and around the home and for commercial applications. The Black & Decker Chainsaw range can tackle most heavy duty sawing jobs from cutting logs for fires to pruning large tree branches. Safety features include anti kick back facility which stops the chain within 0.15 seconds in the event of kick back and a safety lock off switch to prevent accidental starting. Automatic chain oiling improves cutting performance and extends the life of the chain. NB 12 meters of cable are supplied.
