Black & Decker NPP2018 Chainsaw have 18 Volt NiCd Battery provides up to 100 cuts of 1-1/2" pine branches per charge. It has totally house current and gasoline free cordless battery operation. Its battery charges in 3 to 6 hours.
It is not so heavy and do not need much maintenance. It is efficient, quiet and does a surprisingly good job on the tree limbs up to 6” in diameter dead wood, brush and other lighter duty outdoor cutting needs.
Overall construction of Black & Decker npp2018 is impressive. It is built very well and should last for many years with ordinary care and caution. Care should be taken that chain is always oiled and never touches ground.
Black & Decker npp2018 chainsaw is made of three sections. First section holds the battery and on/off trigger switch with safety lockout button. Second part is 48” extension section. This is simply ruggedly built tube that extends the saw working length from 10 feet to 14 feet and carries the working voltage through to the saw’s motor. Third section is the power head with its compact 18 Volt DC motor and the chain saw itself.
