The Ryobi RCS-2040 Electric Chainsaw is equipped with a very high-performance 2000w motor, which produces a chain-speed of 13 meters per-second for fast, clean results. Its fast-acting chain-brake stops the chain almost instantaneously, should kick-back occur; while its automatic chain-oiler greatly improves the chain’s longevity by reducing friction, and therefore wear.
Other features include Ryobi’s ‘GripZone’ overmold technology, for comfortable operation with a positive grip; a large-capacity oil-tank with an oil-level indicator; and a ‘Livetool Indicator’, which glows blue when the saw is plugged into the mains. The RCS-2040 weighs just 5kg and has a 10-meter mains-cable.
